Gas fireplace serviceLevel 1 sweep and inspection to the NFPA 211 annual standard - flue, crown, cap, and flashing checked and photographed
Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.
Meet the Long Beach Team Behind Flint Chimney Co Long Beach
Most chimney companies send whoever’s available. We don’t work that way. Every technician who shows up at your door in Long Beach, from Belmont Shore to Bixby Knolls, is background-checked, uniformed, and trained to the same standard. You’ll know their name before they arrive, and you’ll know exactly what they found after they leave. This is the crew that keeps Long Beach chimneys clean and safe, one house at a time.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Technician
Marcus has been sweeping and inspecting chimneys in Long Beach for 14 years, and he’s seen just about everything the salt air and coastal moisture can do to a flue. He holds a CSIA certification and specializes in diagnosing early-stage water damage and creosote buildup in older beach homes. If Marcus tells you your liner needs attention, he’ll show you the camera footage to prove it. When he’s not on a roof, he’s restoring a 1967 Mustang in his garage off Cherry Avenue.
Reyna S. – Senior Repair Specialist
Reyna leads our repair work, handling everything from flue relining to firebox rebuilds. She’s been with the Garrison Partners network since 2015 and works with HeatShield and DuraFlex systems on a weekly basis, so she can tell you exactly which material fits your chimney and why. Reyna’s the one who documents every repair with before-and-after photos, so there’s never a question about what was done. Outside of work, she volunteers with a cat rescue group in the East Village, which explains why she always has a lint roller in the truck.
Danny O. – Service Coordinator
Danny is the voice on the phone when you call (562) 317-7262 at 9 a.m. on a Tuesday or 2 a.m. during a chimney emergency. He’s been coordinating sweeps and inspections across Los Angeles County for nine years and knows the local permit landscape well enough to answer scheduling questions before you think to ask them. Danny’s job is to get you on the calendar, make sure the written estimate reaches you before anyone sets foot on your property, and keep you informed if anything about the visit changes. On weekends, he’s usually coaching his daughter’s soccer team at El Dorado Park.
Leo F. – Apprentice Technician
Leo joined Flint Chimney Co Long Beach in 2023 after completing his trade coursework, and he works alongside Marcus and Reyna on every job to learn the trade hands-on. He handles equipment staging, workspace setup, and the pre-sweep inspection checklist before a senior technician takes over. Leo’s background in construction means he’s comfortable on steep roofs and knows how to respect a home while he’s in it. When he’s not working, he’s surfing at Bolsa Chica or attempting to keep a sourdough starter alive.
One Standard, Every Job
Every technician you meet above works from the same playbook. We call it The Garrison Code, and it’s been the operating standard across our entire network since 2002. Here’s what that means in practice: no work starts without a written price you approved first. Every repair carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise, a written guarantee valid for a full year from the service date. If a covered repair fails in that window, we come back at no charge. No argument, no callback forms, no fine print. The Garrison Standard applies across all 21 cities we serve in Southern California, so the crew you meet in Long Beach is held to the same bar as any other Flint Chimney location. That consistency is the point. The person who shows up, the materials they use, the report they hand you at the end: it should feel the same every time, because it is.
